Take an audiobook through the full post-production process, from raw recordings to a polished master. Bring a sharp ear, strong editorial judgment, and care for the performance.

What you’ll do

  • Preprocess and clean recordings, preserving the voice and natural pacing.
  • Edit and proof against the manuscript; flag errors in clear pickup sheets.
  • Manage pickups from request through return, review, and seamless insertion.
  • Master to project specifications with appropriate processing, complete quality checks, and deliver organized files for final review.

What you’ll bring

  • At least two years of audiobook editing experience. Audiobook experience is required.
  • A confident workflow with tools such as Pozotron, iZotope RX, Pro Tools, or REAPER.
  • The ability to own editing, proofing, pickups, and mastering independently.
  • Careful editorial judgment, clear communication, and dependable follow-through.

A finished hour is one hour of completed audio. The $80 rate applies to punch editing.

What to include in your introduction
  • Your voice: Links to two or three samples of sustained storytelling.
  • Your range: Genres, age ranges, languages, accents, and performance styles.
  • Your setup: Studio equipment, recording location, and availability for remote or directed sessions.
  • Your details: Location and time zone, contact information, website or profile, and union status if applicable.

Roster submissions do not guarantee work. We’ll discuss scope, availability, rates, and any audition when a suitable project arises.
